Here are some elements of the emerging proposals flowing from the initial consultation:

  • Public open space: It is intended that much of the site will be retained as green open space and unlike the current situation has the potential to be public open space.
  • Community spaces: Facilities for the local community to use, possibly a community centre, indoor and outdoor spaces.
  • Housing: Much needed housing to reflect local needs located sympathetically within the site.
  • School: To cater for the growing local need.

    • Please remember nothing is yet set in stone. The scale and make up of each element will be part of developing further the masterplan and outline proposals for the site.
